  • Budget and Institutional Analysis (BIA), a unit under the oversight of Finance, Operations, and Administration (FOA), includes the Business Intelligence team, whose work encompasses a variety of data-centric initiatives, including the development of data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting solutions that both inform strategic decisions and assist with operational university administration. BIA hosts a data governance page that includes contact information for primary data managers in a variety of units.

• Preserving Student Privacy, Office of the Registrar
  • The Office of the Registrar is responsible for the management of UC Davis' Student Information System (SIS), which encompasses data hosted in Banner. This page explains the rights and responsibilities of students and families pertaining to student data, as governed by the  Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and UC policy.
